Mentoring

 Mentoring is an individually focused approach enabling senior professionals to redefine their capability in a fast track procurement environment.

The focus can support a specific project where there is a need to enhance performance,  raise skill sets for people new to the role or build confidence during a transformation programme.

The capabilities that need to be developed may include procurement planning and strategy, problem sourcing projects, negotiation, people development, cost reduction or bottom line contribution.

The aim is to enable procurement professionals to develop their skill sets by providing a business mentor who can be available for face to face meetings, by telephone, and/or email contact during the period of development.

Recent assignments have included Heads of Procurement and Directors of Finance who needed “fast track” support to change direction as their organisations faced the challenging economic climate.
